Cangrejeras looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Shae Kelley (185-1991, college: Minnesota) who scored 21 points (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Dayshalee Salaman (163-1990, college: LMU) chipped in 7 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. American center Imani McGee-Stafford (201-1994, college: Texas) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds and her fellow American import forward Tess Amundsen (185-1999, college: CSUN) added 22 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
